Description Stigmas: deep red. Locally frequent. Multi-stemmed shrub to 10 ft.
Habitat 6 mi. SE of Alexandria; 1/2 mile NW of the junction of California Crossroads and Wagner Road. Moist, flat land along small stream. Assoc. plants: Rhus, viburnum, and lichens.
