| Habitat | Native perennial to Russian and southwest Asia. Locally naturalized along woodland trail west of parking lot in unmowed yard; abundant when in flower. Perianth deep blue, rotate corolla, one or two scapes with single flowers from bulbs. Associates: Viola sororia, Eranthis hyemalis, Mertensia virginiana, Yucca filamentosa, Narcissus pseudonarcissus. |
