Locality United States. Tennessee, Sevier: Clabo Hollow Road heading east bound, while heading east bound the gravel road to my house is on the right, and the meadow is next to my house. Latitude: 35.46 Longitude: -83.31. Elevation: 1001 feet.
Description This plant came from a grassy meadow growing amongst clover as well as other grasses. This is an annual that grows from 4 to 16 inches tall and the leaves are somewhat heart shaped. The flowers it produces are pinkish-purple in color. This species is a weed of open areas, it was introduced from Eurasia, and is found throughout Tennessee and most of the South Eastern U.S.
