Description Found in rich moist wood next to a large oak tree. Perennial arising from a corm. The stem is 1 to 2 ft. tall at flowering and topped with one or two compound leaves. The fruit is a cluster of bright red berries. This plant is common and is found throughout Tennessee in rich woodlots.
