Habitat: | At area burned in 1987. Ten year secondary Quercus-Carya-Pinus successional stand. Associates: Smilax spp., Ulmus rubra, Acer rubrum, A. saccharum, Pinus virginiana, Quercus alba, Q. velutina, Q. rubra, Carya ovata, C. tomentosa, Fraxinus americana, Robinia pseudoacacia, Rhus copallina, R. glabra. Native perennial, infrequent, on rocky soil. |
