Morgan: Excursion to the Point, the confluence of Clear Creek and Obed River; from house at 36°05'53 N, 84°43'10 W (Lancing Quad), along jeep trail to narrow ridge between the two streams, thence down over bluff, then up the north bank of Obed River to river mile 5.5, up south-facing slope and out of gorge via a saddle-like break in the steep bluff to rejoin old jeep rim trail back to house. |
