Description:Japanese knotweed. Young plant, not in flower. Not common in this section of the property, but is very abundant in the fenced in part of the property. 
Habitat:Melbourne. Along Anderson Avenue off of River Road (Route 8). 100 ft before the graveled parking area there is a little path, not a part of the main path. 5 ft from a long stream. A large transformer near the road is visible from the collection site.
