Description: | Shagbark hickory. Tree with bark peeling in long, narrow strips. Nuts with thick (1 cm+) hulls breaking into four segments, being much enjoyed by the squirrels. Several individuals seen growing in woods behind the truck parking lot. See also pressed collection. |
