Family:Fabaceae
Currently Accepted Name:Trifolium pratense L. - Determined By: Whitson, Maggie (Mary)
Herbarium Name Used:Trifolium pratense
Locality:United States. Kentucky. Campbell: In Alexandria; Yard on West Miller Road 38° 55' 48" N, 84° 24' 21" W
Description:Purple clover. Erect herb at weedy roadside. Common in the area, but this plant was unusual because instead of deep pinky-purple flowers, its flowers were such a washed out baby pink that they looked white at a distance. Occasionally, other individuals of this color have been seen in the same yard. I assume it's genetic, as there are normal individuals in the same area.
Habitat:Alexandria, Kentucky, along West Miller Road. N 38.930, W 84.406.
Collector:Whitson, Maggie (Mary) 2015-0001 1/2

Accession No:31973000015514
