Habitat: | Eastern Highland Rim of Interior Low Plateau; Mississippian shaly siltstones and limestones; Gramon-Lowell-Waynesboro soils. Elevation ranges from 800-900 feet. Native perennial; extremely rare; a single plant at edge of Oak-Hickory Forest, subjected to mowing. |
