Locality:United States. Kentucky. Monroe: Old Mulkey Meeting House State Historic Site, 0.2 mi south of Tomkinsville, adjacent to KY 1446 at latitude 36o40'47 N and longitude 85o42'29 W, Tomkinsville Quadrangle.
Habitat:Eastern Highland Rim of Interior Low Plateau; Mississippian shaly siltstones and limestones; Garmon-Lowell-Waynesboro soils. Elevation ranges from 800-900 feet. Native perennial; infrequent; moist soil of Oak-Hickory Forest and Mixed Mesophytic Forest.
