Eastern Highland Rim of Interior Low Plateau: Mississippian shaly siltstones and limestones; Garmon-Lowell-Waynesboro soils. Elevation ranges from 800-900 feet.
Habitat:Mississippian shaly siltstones and limestones; Garmon-Lowell-Waynesboro soils. Native perennial; occasional; in Oak-Hickory Forest and Mixed Mesophytic Forest.
