Habitat:Abandoned limestone quarry; native perennial, rare, in thin soil on north shaded highway talus, in Acer-Cornus-Platanus-Rhus woodland. Associates: Rhus radicans, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Campsis radicans, Saponaria officinalis, Impatiens capensis, Rumex crispus.
