Locality:United States. Kentucky. Madison: Turn left onto S. Kit Carson Dr. Richmond, KY. Follow the road until you see a gate and gravel road with a sign that says Taylor Fork Ecological Area. Follow the gravel road until the last gate. Enter the gate and it is located on the right side of the entrance. 37° 42' 59" N, 84° 17' 45" W
Description:Yellow flower head that turns into round balls of silver tufted fruits. Stems are commonly a purplish color. Leaves have petioles that are unwinged or narrowly winged. Stems can be glabrous or sparsely covered with short hair. 
Habitat:Terrestrial, highly disturbed area
