Locality: | United States. Tennessee. Jackson: head north bound from cookeville and go towards spring creek. This plant is on the side of the road a few ft. up the banks. This plant came from a disturbed roadside a few ft. up the bank. |
Description: | This is a plant that is mainly in the North East U.S. but has extended south into Tennessee.; Perennial that can be from 12 to 20 inches tall while it is flowering. The flower is yellow and the plant sprouts from a rhizome with saffron colored juice. |
