Locality: | United States. Tennessee. Haywood: Brownsville, TN; ten yards from west side of highway 70, fourty yards south from Bond Ferry Bridge, and 35 yards souht of the Fin-Feather Road. |
Description: | Three feet and eight inches tall with a petal length of up to 2.5 inches and an elongated style length of 1.5 inches. Herb living on the side of a marsh area. Wet soil type containing moisture, and partial sunlight was present. Few other plants were close to specimen. Flowers white with reddish purple flower center; odor is sweet. Latitude: 35º 31' 16 N; Longitude: 89º 20' 59W; Elevation: 89 m. |
