Description: | Soil moist. Common name Poinsettia. Herbaceous perennial plant. Escaped from Mexico. Height is 16cm. Leaves variable ranging from oblanceolate to lanceolate to linear and from slightly toothed margins to several large lobes. Uppermost leaves have red blotches near the base. Fruit is a three-lobed capsule. December 12th is National Poinsettia Day. |
