Locality:United States. Tennessee. Shelby: Memphis, Overton Park, along main trail.
Description:Deciduous tree growing 10-15 meters tall, alternate, finely serrate leaves. Leaves simple, broadly cordate, unlobed on mature trees. Underside of leaves hirsute. Inconspicuous small yellowish green or reddish green flowers, flowers often dioecious but may occur on same tree. Fruit are compound cluster of drupes, ripen to color similar to a blackberry, fruits are 2-3 cm long.
