Locality: | United States. Tennessee. Haywood: Cannon-Stewart Farm; Brownsville, TN; fourty yards north of Hatchie River alongside grass road of field furthest west (fifteen acres south of large lake). |
Description: | Total plant height is approximately 24 inches tall. Herb lives in marshy habitat with wet soil. Much moisture present, and no other flowering plants near the specimen. Flowers red with five petals in the spike; glabrous stem and oblong to oblanceolate glabrous leaves of dentate leaf margin. |
